Ostertag Holding takes over the communications service provider DeTeWe. The seller is the listed Canadian company Mitel Networks Corporation. Ostertag is supported by equity investor VR Equitypartner. SKYE PARTNERS in Frankfurt / Main supported the transaction as legal advisor to the purchaser.
DeTeWe is a long standing provider in the telephone and telecommunications market. Since 2005, the company is owned by the Canadian Mitel Group. With over 16 sales and service locations, it is today one of the most well-known integrators for IT and communication systems in Germany.
With the help of its majority shareholder VR Equitypartner, Ostertag Group has successfully implemented a buy-and-build strategy since 2016. The company offers IT and communication solutions. Last year, Ostertag had already acquired the telecommunications division of euromicron Deutschland. By the latest acquisition, Ostertag will again be able to grow disproportionately and expand its nationwide presence.
VR Equitypartner is one of the most active equity investors in Germany with around 100 commitments and an investment volume of 500 million euros. The investor is increasingly implementing buy-and-build strategies for portfolio companies.
VR Equitypartner has repeatedly mandated the SKYE PARTNERS team headed by Holger Scheer and Christoph Breithaupt to seek advice on legal and structural issues as well as transaction management.
