Frankfurt am Main, 17 December 2019
The private equity team of SKYE PARTNERS has legally advised MEHRWERK AG (“MEHRWERK”) and its stockholders on the merger with netgo Group (“netgo”), which was previously acquired by Waterland Private Equity Fund (“Waterland”). Thus MEHRWERK is part of Waterland/netgo’s buy and build strategy. The parties have agreed not to disclose the terms of the transaction.
MEHRWERK was founded in 2008 as a manufacturer-independent IT service provider for agile and user-friendly additional solutions for SAP users. MEHRWERK currently has around 30 employees and serves around 250 customers of all sizes from industry, commerce and the service sector. MEHRWERK is a SAP cloud gold partner and a leading Qlik solution provider in the DACH region. In addition, MEHRWERK offers self-developed solutions, such as MPM Process Mining, which is used by medium-sized companies as well as DAX corporations for the analysis of business processes.
Netgo was founded in 2007 as an IT system firm and has grown at an above-average rate in recent years, both organically and through the successful acquisition of other IT companies. Due to its broad product range, netgo acts as a so-called one-stop-shop for its more than 3,000 customers throughout Germany.
SKYE PARTNERS’ team of advisors, specialized in Private Equity & Venture Capital, advised MEHRWERK on the legal issues required for the transaction as well as the participation of the management in the group of the acquirer.
